I love this! I have a night routine that starts at 8:30pm where I dim the lights, put my phone on silent, play Surah Baqarah and read an Islamic book and journal right before sleep.

Truly seems like a nice routine! I think I'm going to make this my routine too! Including the 8:30pm timing. Thank you so much for sharing.

I love the breakdown of health into smaller, manageable categories. As for a bedtime routine, I think simplicity and consistency is better than having an elaborate 12-step routine. I just journal, read Quran, pray, make dua, and brush my teeth before I sleep.

I love how simple this is! Simple and very doable inshaAllah. I think as long as I know exactly what to do to wind down (and *why* I'm doing it), it'll be easier to be consistent with it inshaAllah. Thank you, thank you!

Ahahha I agree, having a why is soo helpful. For me I want to finish reading the Quran so I made a goal to read 2 pages in the morning and 2 in the evening. It helps me stay connected to Allah. As for journaling, I feel a yearning when I see other people's vlogs or diary entries and so I want to document my own life too to feel fulfilled. Find a routine that adds value to your life!

Loveeee this! And thank you so much for sharing. May Allah grant these to you and fill your life with barakah ameen!! I want to wind down because my brain takes ages to shut down... So if I'm not intentional about night time, I can keep going until way past midnight (not good for me!).

My main why is - I want to avoid the fajr struggle. I want to be awake, alert, and present in the first few hours of my morning.

That's a great why!! May Allah make it easy for you to find the routine that works for you and make it easy to wake up for Fajr!!
